If you have a valid DNS server on your network, I wouldn't add anything to the host files.. The reason being is your host file can periodically conflict with a DNS server.

Why do you feel adding hosts to a host file is a good idea?

To answer your question, navigate to:
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ect\Host    file
Right click it and edit it with a Text editor, like notepad.

I will emphasize not to edit the host files. I have seen too many problems caused by this.

Here is a link that I wrote on how to troubleshoot DNS.. Within that link it explains that adding host files is not a good idea because a client will look within the client's host file prior to looking for DNS resolution.

A DNS server should resolve all IPs on the local network and go out to outside servers for further DNS resolution. So, this means a host file edit shouldn't be needed.
