Migrating to Google Apps

Wish to migrate from a hosted Exchange situation to Google Apps.
Anyone familar with this?
This is 2007 Exchange.
I think that I'm really just hung up on migrating existing info.
I've downloaded the google migration tool and have setup a user in Google apps, not sure, specifically about the Exchange service account info.  Can IMAP be used?

I still suggest you to go with Exchange. Exchange still rules the market.

amitkulshrestha:  This didn't help... It appears that you either need to cooperation of the hosting company or to own/manage the Exchange server yourself.

amitkulshrestha:  30 minutes into this 60 minute video... just a commercial on Google Apps.

It appears that the way to do this is to open Outlook and add the Google Apps account and then manually move the mail over.

Just in case anyone ever has this issue, you can use a command line tool to upload your PST's to Google which works great. http://code.google.com/p/got-your-back/downloads/detail?name=gyb-alpha-16-windows.zip&can=2&q=

Its amazing and very helpful.
