Hello,
I've created a child theme off of a premium theme called Corporate Works.
For some reason the styles aren't showing up when I change them.
Below is a shot of the css folders and my child theme css code: File heirarchy

/*
Theme Name: ASM Corporate Works
Description: Child Theme for Corporate Works Theme
Template: corporate_works
Version: 0.1
*/

@import url("../corporate_works/css/reset.css");
@import url("../corporate_works/style.css");
@import url("../corporate_works/css/style_orange.css");

body {}

.form-comment input.submit_no_margin, .comment-reply-link, #searchform #searchsubmit, .form-comment input.submit, .pagination a, a.nice_button {
	float: none;
	font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
	font-size: 13px;
	font-weight: normal;
	border-top: solid 1px #db8d18;
	border-left: solid 1px #db8d18;
	border-right: solid 1px #db8d18;
	border-bottom: solid 1px #db8d18;
	background: url(../images/orange/button_overlay.png) repeat-x top #ff9a01;
	color: #000;
	height: 38px;
	line-height: 36px;
	cursor: pointer;
	padding: 0 12px;
	-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
	-moz-border-radius: 5px;
	border-radius: 5px;
	margin: 6px 0 10px 0;
	-webkit-box-shadow: #999 0 1px 2px;
	-moz-box-shadow: #999 0 1px 2px;
	box-shadow: #999 0 1px 2px;
	width:auto;
}

Are the file paths correct for all the css files?

And could you post a link to your website where we can see it in action, It would help to find out whats wrong much faster and I can also have a look at the code for the style changer to see if thats the problem.

Unfortunately the site is on my local machine right now. I can load it to a live test site later on today.

When you post it on a live site, add the link here. I'll take a look at it and see if I can help.

Okay, I posted the site live here:

http://sandbox.intrepidrealist.com/Testing02/

And guess what? The styles are working for the child theme. (All I did was change the background color and font color for the top "GO" submit button as a test.)

But not working on my local machine. Ever seen that happen before?

Now I'm getting no styles at all.

Okay, styles are back after re-installing the themes.

Now to see if I can get the child theme styles to work again...

Turned out the theme is screwy and not much response from the developer.
Thanks all for trying...
