exchange 2007 owa virtual directory and certificate

Hi,

I have 3 Exchange 2007 CAS server with 1 virtual directory.

The external URL is webmail.domaine.com

my COMODO certificate will expire soon and i need to add same new owa URL.

my questions:

1-to add 2 new owa url, for exemple owa1.domaineA.com and owa2.domaineC.com, i just need to add this url to my certificate and redirect this new 2 url to the existing  owa virtual directory or i need to create 2 new OWA virtual directory?

2-When i change the certificate in Cas server, i need to restart IIS service or not?

Thanks

You don't need a second virtual directory.

Make sure the two names (owa1.domaineA.com, owa2.domaineC.com) are listed in the certificate. That is the critical step. Then make sure those two records resolve (in DNS) to the IP address of your Exchange Server.

Exchange does not configure host headers on the website for the various virtual directories it uses, so anything you point at the server's IP will work, regardless of the DNS name.

No. Once you assign the HTTP services to the new certificate, the change should be immediate.
