reinstalled drivers, no difference.  Discovered I can connect thru IE 64 bgit but not 32 bit.  Thus web sites will not load correctly.  Tried to run Malwarebytes cannot connect to aserver?  Uninstalled, reinstalled fromm CNET, same issue cannot update.  Also tried another app I use, Advanced system care, same issue cannot connect to server.  Default browser cannot be IE 64 bit.

Tried fix on Micosoft did not fix.

I can no longer browse on the internet or connect to my email server. Everything worked fine before, I upgraded to Win 7 from Vista
but now no web pages will be displayed. Pushing the 'Diagnose Connection Problem" reports that
no problem could be identified. I still have internet connectivity, Windows 7 still automatically
downloads updates and I can ping sites. If I use the 64bit version of IE8, I am able to
browse the Internet. IE 32 bit will not work.  cannot use 64 bit as default browser.

Solutions tried:
1. Other ISP and network configurations
2. Updated IE8
3. Lowered IE8 security setting
4. Disabled all add-ons to IE8
5. Reset IE8 settings
6. Reset winsock
7. Removed Norton Internet Security, ran Norton_Removal_tool.exe
8. Ran Malicious Software Removal Tool -- Full Scan
9. Also tried downloading FireFox browser which also did not work

None of these helped. What other solutions could I try?
