Web hosting

Hi,
Currently I have my domain at register.com
My mail is host exchange at live offcie
My website is a subfolder on go daddy hosting package pointed to by URL redirect from register.com
My dns servers for mail and the website are register.com servers.

I would like to not have to transfer my domain from register.com to go daddy. I want my mx record pointing to live office to still work.

I don't want to a URL redirect any more because it is messing up seo.
How do I move the hosting of my site to a place that does not need a URL redirect.

Instead of using register.com forwarding servers, point the Primary A record (@) for "domain.com, and the www record "www.domain.com" to the IP of the Go Daddy shared hosting account directly.

This will not affect other records such as the MX record.
