I forgot to say, I intend to use Entity Framework 4.0 and LINQ to Entities to communicate with this database. That's a requirements when I choose a database for the Mac OS X that I can use &nbsp;Entity Framework 4.0 and LINQ to Entities.<br />

For a Windows PC I'd use SQL Server Compact Edition (SQL Server CE) since it's free and robust.<br />

Any free database for the Macintosh?

Mac OS X is the desktop operating system from Apple Inc., found on Macintosh computers. OS X consists of a Mach/BSD-based kernel, operating system interfaces primarily based on FreeBSD and additional frameworks (written in C, C++ and Objective-C providing user interface and application-level services.
