BES on Blackberry

Hi

Trying to setup a blackberry on BES but the device WILL NOT show enterprise activation under setup wizard or options.
We managed to deploy some of the BES services over the air but the device wasnt picking up contacts or calendar etc.

we have wiped the device data and the OS and reloaded (and also wiped again on the device) but the handheld is still receiving emails from the BES/Exchange server, even after we have deelted the users account from BES server too.

Ideas?

Usually a device won't show the enterprise activation option if it's been provisioned as a consumer/non-enterprise device. The best way to check this is with your carrier - do you have an enterprise service plan? or the consumer (i.e. BIS)?

It sounds like the account was set up using BIS - perhaps the user is/was using OWA/IMAP/POP3 back to your exchange, rather than a BES account?
Hi,

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Host routing tables > Then clcik on the menu button and click 'register now'
This will pull down the service books for BES from your service provider and enable the enterprise activation option.
