My application is a VB.Net application. I have given a feature for backing up sql database. This creates a .bak file on hard-disk.

1. How do I scan and display to the user all the Cd/DVD drives?
2. Now is there any API call of Nero that will allow me to copy this .bak file on a CD or DVD from my VB.Net application?

Regards,
MI

You can list all drives with My.Computer.FileSystem.Drives. Then you can check each drive, if it is a CD/DVD drive. This seems to be the easiest way.
