Vmware Broker.

Vmware Broker.

Vmware uses the terms, Vmware broker, Connection Manager, vmware desktop Infrastrcture.
I wonder if these all mean the same thing.
The Broker I know about  approximately  2cents is the one that Thin Clients transit through to get to the Virtual machines.
Anyone out there has a link on how to set it up?

Thanks

VMware Broker or Connection Broker was an older name for what VMware calls Connection Manager Server, it's the server that the VMware View clients, first connect to establish a connection to the farm. VMware VDI, VMWare now likes to call VMware View. 4.5 is the latest.

VMware View docucmentation here

This is the best document on the internet, that compares VMware VMWare View, Citrix Xen, and Microsoft VDI
