How do I Sync iCal Subscription Calendars to Verizon iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.6? iMac is Snow Leopard OS 10.6.6.

Sync with iTunes 10 on iMac does not work. What Apple says below does not seem to be true. My MobileMe Calendar does show subscription calendars that are in iCal on iMac. Appropriate calendars (e.g. Birthdays) are checked in 2 places (Calendars/Other) on iPhone 4. I am using new MobileMe Calendar.

Subscription Calendars do sync with my iPod Touch 3g/4g [iOS 4] and iPad [[iOS 4]. Same calendars (e.g. Birthdays) are checked in 2 places (Calendars/Other) on iPod Touch 3g/4g.

Birthdays checked in MobileMe and iCal does not seem to be same function as iCal Subscription Calendars Birthdays.

From http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1213

# iPhone or iPod touch (with iOS 3.1 or later), and iPad (with iOS 3.2 or later):

Subscription calendars configured in iCal on your Mac will sync via MobileMe to your iPhone or iPod touch or to an iPad.

Note: This article does not apply to the new MobileMe Calendar; see this FAQ for more information. See this article if you're not sure if you're using the old or new MobileMe Calendar.
