transparent web buttons

Does anyone know if you can make transparent web buttons (with a light colored glow) in fireworks mx?  Alternately, is there a free, or reasonably priced, option for doing this?

I can't remember if mx came out  before or after  fireworks 8, so I hope what I share holds true for your version.

Cool tutorial on making a web button (which has some transparent effects in it: http://www.joycejevans.com/tutorials/Fireworks/FWMX/gel/gel.htm

Actually this whole page has good tutorials.

To add a glow:
*Click the Add Filters button (the plus sign) in the Property inspector, then select Shadow and Glow > Glow.
*Edit the filter settings in the pop-up window:
*Click the color box to open the color pop-up window and set the glow color.
*Drag the Width slider to set the width of the glow.
*Drag the Opacity slider to set the percentage of transparency in the glow.
*Drag the Softness slider to set the sharpness of the glow.
*Drag the Offset slider to specify the distance of the glow from the object.

Again, I hope that fireworks mx has these features (I have fireworks 8 and I think mine was released after yours)
