Hi,
We currently added 2 VM servers to an existing Business Object XI R2 environment to replace the two old servers, but when we disabled the 2 older servers, we were unable to update our reports with the new the Business Object server running.  We can, however, load new reports and save new reports and update new reports, but just can not save existing reports back to the server with the same name.

We are running XI R2 servers in a cluster environment running on Windows 2003 SP2 and Apache server. Any help is greate appreciated!

The error message:
Failed to commit the associated file of objects--File Server error: Could not complete file transfer

Thanks in advance!

Finally figured this out:

The update problem is due to the fact that there is  a backslash ("/") after the FRS input server name on our 01 server; so when it is not using FRS on server 01 it works and when it is using 01 then it doesn't.  Symptom of inconsistency.
