Hi,

Why when I paste from Sheet A (unformatted), into Sheet B custom formatted on column C), the original values from A do not modify into the custom formats on B?

Is this possible, and if so, how is it accomplished?

Thank you

Hello,

use Paste Special - Values or for formulas Paste Special - Formulas.

Then the format will not be overwritten.

cheers, teylyn

You can also right-click the target cells and use the Paste Options in the context menu. The screenshot is from Excel 2010. When you hover over the options, it will display what the result will look like in the sheet.
