Excel taking time during copy paste from one cell to another

Hi,

I am using office XP(2000 Version) on my system. I have an Excel file which is approx 7MB in size. The issue was when i manual copy and paste matters from different cell it is stuck for some time (apprx. 2 /3 Mins) and the working. I am using normal text in this file and there was no formula, macros etc are there.

Please suggest any solution.

The only think I can think of is perhaps turning Calculation to Manual during copy/paste operation, unless the calculation is required for successive copies...

Problem can be solved after creating a new excel file and copy the old data will definately solve the problem

I created a add-inns for Lookup Wizard and after that its working fine.
