Is it possible to search for a word in the whole Exchange store?
The word might be in the subject or body of an email.
This would save a lot of searching by a lot of people.
Cheers

See if there is any help here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997688(EXCHG.80).aspx

Other suggestions are a tool from On Track, (there seems to be a limited version free triall here:
http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/data-recovery-downloads/#email)

and exporting everyones mail to .pst and loading them all in one or more pst files and searching from Outlook.  There is also full text indexing, which allows for faster searching in each users mailbox:

Oh, sorry, for background and more information you may want to review this from the Exchange Team:

Thanks for that. I've put partially, as I have no experience of Exchange search, so will now start reading!
Thanks again
