change width of start menu in windows 7

Hi
I have a client who I have a list of application titles to be used on their public use Windows 7 machines. However as I have configured the start menu only to show the list of applications and nothing else, I notice I need to widen the all programs submenu to fit all of the characters of each title in the menu. Changing screen resolution or font size is not a preferred option.

Any ideas?

Following this discussion, there was a link to a Polish program that seems to do what you need

Windows 7 doesn't have the classic menu option

Kemi67, I also saw that but it costs money and seems more than I was hoping for. I had thought there was a reg fix to widen the menu a little, but this polish software might be the only thing available.

Are you sure that you have to pay for the polish program? I only see a "Donate" button on his page. It seems freeware

It seems that for Vista (and i guess even for 7) you can modify the MUI files to change what you need. For what i've understood, the polish program do it in such way.
Reading here, it seems that you need a resource hacker editor
