Adove PDF Error
When trying to open any PDF file using Adobe Reader 7.0 a user gets the follwoing error message "An Internal Error has occured".

I am afraid updating is not an option, this installation of Adobe Reader is on a server that many users RDP to and use. Strangely I am able to open any PDF docs on this server, therefore I am guessing that maybe it is something to do with her profile. What do you think??

Likely, has her profile got the same access rights to the Adobe folders on the server or the location where the PDFs are kept?
It is most probably a permission issue, check the Program Files> Adobe subfolders

After much research I came up with the solution.
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
User must download 7.1 first and then use the 'Check for update' under the Help menu to obtain the patches.
