OWA URLs for coexistance in Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008
I've inherited an Exchange 2007 upgrade from Exchange 2003 which is midway through its deployment. From my research it to me it looks if we set the default web site URL to be https://cas.domain.com/exchange, that the CAS would determine whether the mailbox exists on either the Exchange 2007 server or the Legacy 2003 server and forward the request to the proper URL (cas.domain.com/exchange or cas.domain.com/owa). However that does not seem to be the case.
Wondering what would be the best way in reality to handle the coexistance issue between Exchange 2003 mailboxes and those on Exchange 2007 in order to give folks the ability to use Outlook Web Access?

The output that you requested is:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Ow aVirtualDi rectory cas1\* | select cas1,internalurl,externalu rl,exchang e2003url
cas1 InternalUrl ExternalUrl exchange2003url
----- ----------- ----------- ---------------
https://cas1.domain.org/owa https://mail.domain.org/owa
Neither the default website nor the Exchange 2003 URL had anything below them..

Is mail. the only externally configured host? What is the Certificate configured for?
ASKER
Yes mail is the only external facing host we have. The SAN certificate has its host name as well as autodiscover.domain.com attached to it as well.
ASKER
We were able to get both the websites https://mail.domain.com/owa and the https://mail.domain.com/exchange published so that if one types the whole thing out they get to the proper site. The question remains however how to get the proxy and redirection process to function?
