Hello,

I am trying to set up RemoteApps via an SBS 2008 TS Gateway. Could someone please look at the attached image and tell me if I'm going about it the right way. I have read four chapters from four different books but none mention the trouble I am having using SBS and 2008/2008R2 hybrid setups. Diagram

It has been my experience that you cannot run TS Web Apps reliably on SBS. The problem is that SBS only supports one NIC and the usual way around this issue is to bind the website to another NIC...which SBS doesn't support.

What I usually do in these types of topologies is run TS Web Apps on an entirely different server (virtualization is great here) and then map a second public IP to that server using a different URL. Works well.

For the record, this is only if you need TS Web Apps specifically. You can publish remoteapps without the TS Web Apps component by simply publishing the .rdp files to your RWW page. Eriq Neale's SBS 2008 Unleashed book covers this as I recall.
