Mailbox restore....

I upgraded to exchange  and I noticed that the backup does not use the persons name but files with numbers and odd extensions.  How do you tell who's mailbox is who's in case I have to do a restore.

What version of Exchange are you using?
Are you using Windows to backup your database?

I am using Exchange  and I am using windows to back up the database.
