not able to seach on server 2003

If I open explorer on server 2003 then hit the search tab all i get is a blank window. i restarted the windows serach service...how can i get this back?

the server has the windows search desktop installed on the tool bar...

Run the following from cmd prompt:

regsvr32 wshom.ocx
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

If that doesn't get it, try uninstalling windows desktop search, reboot, and test.  If successful, you could try reinstalling it, if you're wanting to use it.
