HI,

We have recently installed a new server for a client (SBS 2008) and installed BESR 2010.
The installation was successful yet when running the first backup job, the following error occurs.
Disk Management shows our 2 hard drives (software RAID 1) with no problems
"The LDM database cannot be used" when clicking OK, a further error is
"Error e6f10001 running job: Drive-C"

Any help, much appreciated
thanks

Hi,

Try to run the CHKDSK /R command on the source system's drives.

Best regards,
Vladimir

Hi The chkdsk didn't work. i noticed that V2010 service pack 2 was available, ran this on the server, stopped and started the BESR service and the symsnap service and the backup started to work.
Thanks
