WatchGuard

Hi,

I’m trying to add a new public subnet to our Watch Guard Firebox X750e. we have one interface already with a x.x.x.x/29 subnet, but as I say, want to add another x.x.x.x/29 public subnet to the same interface.

Is that possible and how? Running Watch Guard System Manger 11.3.2

Thanks

OK, I think I worked it out, but if anyone can confirm im doing it right. under the network interface you want the subnet to use. On the secondery tab, just input all the address of the subnet in the x.x.x.x/29 format and it should work??

Yes you are correct; this is the way to go.

Please note double check with your ISP that are indeed forwarding all traffic from x.x.x.x/29 subnet to your IP; I have seen ISP not configuring routing properly causing issues.

You can try traceroute from an external internet source [not your ISP] and see if the routing is proper and in place.

Please let know if you need more details.

Thank you.
