Have bounced email update contact info in SalesForce.com?

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible in Salesforce to have a checkbox (like 'Bad email' or something) be checked automatically on a contact if an email sent to their email address bounced.

The goal is, for future mailings, to be able to exclude all those contacts with a simple filter, and also know which contacts we need to follow up with to get their current email.

Thanks,

Andrey

P.S. I do not see a salesforce zone, so I am zoning the question as best as I can -- if anyone has a suggestion to re-zone, I would appreciate it.

Yes it can be done.

Check out this thread for one way to work it (the very last comment):

The first comment also details standard reports available that can be used for following up with the bounced contacts.
