Outlook 2007 can't send message from South Africa

Hi Experts,

Outlook 2007 and BlackBerry phone can be send/received message at Singapore.

My manager go to South Africa.
BlackBerry phone can be send and received message at South Africa.
Outlook 2007 can be received message at South Africa but can't send message.

Please advice to me.

It seems likely that whatever internet provicer you are using in South Africa is blocking port 25, the outgoing port for email (called the smtp port).   A lot of providers block this port to help combat the sending of spam.

Can you check with your ISP at home/office if there are alternate SMTP ports that you could use to connect to their sever?  If there are, you can easily change the ports in outlook.  If not, you'l either need to use the South African provider's SMTP server or find another provider with an SMTP server that you can use that doesn't use port 25.
