SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 migration

We are upgrading to SBS 2011 from Small Business Server 2003 this weekend.   My question is do we have to upgrade exchange 2003 to sp2 before the migration or will it allow us to migrate?  The reason I would like to skip this is because we are almost out of room on the server.

Thanks

You absolutely must upgrade to SP2 for exchange otherwise when SBS2011 tries to install Exchange 2010 it will fail.

See my migration guide here: http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Server/SBS_Small_Business_Server/A_4234-Migrate-Small-Business-Server-2003-to-Small-Business-Server-2011.html

OK Great thank you.  Do you know how much space I need on the C: drive to install this?  I am currently down to 3GB.

Thanks again

That should be enough, can you move something to a different volume? The exchange database or logs for example?
