Forward Message in In Outlook 2003

When you forward a message in Outlook 2003 where does the forwarded message go?  It never appears in sent items but the original mail header states that the message was forwarded on whatever the date was.

I have never seen this before, any ideas?

Cheers

Depends on your version as to how to see the setting but there is a setting save forwarded messages with original ... see if that is checked:

2010 : File | Options | MAil | Save Messages Pane | When replying to a message ...
2003 : tools | OPtions | Preferences | E-Mail Options | Save copies of messages ...
