plesk installation problem

during the setup (plesk 10.1.1) I have the following error message:

===> Installing psa database
Trying to start service mysql... done
Trying to define valid mysql credentials... Trying to establish test connection... failed
Trying to establish test connection... failed

my OS is ubuntu 10.04 lts.
I have tried information but are not managed to find solutions.

The admin password file /etc/psa/.psa.shadow exists ?

I have solved with remove mysql server that I have installed before plesk installation.
