How can I add a Safari bookmark to the desktop of an Apple OS X v. 10.6.4 computer?

A user needs to be able to simply click on this bookmark contained on the Mac's desktop to gain access to a website.

How can this be done?

Drag the URL by the favicon to the Desktop.
