Can I set the autopostback property of a radComboBox control in javascript?

I have a radComboBox with the autopostback set to true.  But in certain circumstances, I need to change the contents of the comboBox in javascript and not do the autopostback.
Is there some way I can do this?  What is the syntax?

      combo.setautopostback to false somehow
        combo.trackChanges();
        combo.set_selectedIndex(0);
        combo.set_text('');
        combo.set_value('');
        combo.commitChanges();
       combo.set autopostback back to true somehow

 if(con.value == "")  {                  
return false;          
 } else {
                __doPostBack(con,e);            
}                  

}
 
and your textbox should be...
