Hi, due to some issue with our pilot Exchange 2010 we are uninstalling all the 2010 servers. I managed to uninstall al but except last server with Hub Trans and MB roles.

I have one Public Folder "PF" which cannot be mounted due to MS Exchange Replication Service cannot run on the server.
When I tried to manually start the service, I get an message that "MS REplication Service on SERVER started and then stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they are not is use by other services or programs"

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Remove-PublicFolder -Identity "\PF" -Server "SERVER"
You can't perform this operation because public folder database 'PF' isn't mounted. Please mount it and try again.
    + CategoryInfo          : NotSpecified: (:) [], TaskInvalidOperationException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : 7C686B7C

How should I forcefully remove the Public Folder "PF"

Many thanks

Hi To Remove the public folder follow the steps :
1. Take a necessary copy the files into PST,
2. you can achive directly if no more required of the particular Public folder Database.
3. You can remove through ADSI EDIT and -->configuraton->Services-->EXchange -->Administrative groups->Databases->choose the PF  database and remove it. it is easy one.

Path will different according to your organization ...
