Consolidating Standalone Primavera P6 into one central database

Hi,

I am Consolidating Standalone Primavera P6 installation for our users into one central database. Anyone already having this experience please send any suggestion you think is important.

I have a plan to create separate EPS for each user (which were using standalone in past) and import its projects into that and create project profile will full access so that they can do whatever freely they want to do as they were working on their standalone installation. But I am thinking to restrict Global profile a lot so that users cannot see or do modifications which can effect others.

Having centralized server is a good option instead of having standalone. However, you shoud make sure about the available concurrent licenses to access the primavera server.

Licensing is not an issue we'll do everything necessary in this regard.

Will it be OK if I dont grant  any Global profile to users so that whatever they have to do they should do at their project levels which will control them creating/modifying globally?
