I am using sql server 2008 r2 and in the server properties the default language it is showing
English (United Stattes) but in @@language command showed me langauge as British.

So that i have used sp_configure and changed my language to us_english for that i have used the language id a 0.  But after that i executed the same @@lanuage command its showing the language as British.

But in sp_configure shows me the following values (0 as english united_states)
default language      0      9999      0      0

How can change the language to us_english and why server properties showing the language as English UnitedStates and @@language command shows me different langauge ?.

Is it possible for you to do an "ALTER LOGIN login WITH DEFAULT_LANGUAGE=English" on all logins? That might do it.
