Hi.

In my aspx page i have following control:
<asp:FileUpload ID="FileUpload1" runat="server" />
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server"  onclick="Button1_Click" Text="Button" />

In my aspx.cs:
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{

If I upload a file named "blåvand", i get an error. How can I prevent this? The characters æ ø å is not allowed, I cant figure it out :) Please help

Hmm, those characters work for me.  Where are you getting an error - on the client or server?  What is the actual exception/error message?
