Windows Storage Server 2003 upgrade

I currently have 3 Storage Server 2003 64-bit servers that house storage for each office in our firm.  However, I have an application that requires Server 2008 64-bit.  Has anyone successfully upgraded using this path?  If not, do you see any reason why the upgrade should not work?

I would be upgrading to Windows Server 2008.  However, that is what I figured.  Too bad really, it could have been a very simple fix for us.  Thanks for your reply.
Not a problem sorry the way MS does it.
