Matrix of Mobile Devices and Operating Systems

Hello, does anyone know of a resource where I can get a complete matrix comparison chart/spreadsheet of mobile phones and OS'?

Knowing how hard it is to keep up with everything, I wanted to have a spreadsheet that keeps track of what's new etc.

Does anyone know where I can get a current comparison like that?

Your question is kind of obscure, so hard to answer.
What exactly would you like to know? There is so much to know about this subject. Market share, (new) features or maybe something completely different?
I guess you would like to keep up with the most important trends.

Market research companies like Comscore can give you an overview of, for example, market share of mobile operating systems.
Google for "Comscore” and the thing you would like to know, and quite often you can find something like a press release.
If you are in need of quite detailed data, you can contact such a company.
Same for Forrester and Gartner, quite similar, also consultants / market research ;)

Or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_operating_system

Websites like CNet/Techcrunch/ArsTechnica/Engadget have on a regular base a ‘news item’ about things like market share or reviews/updates/and so on.

So it depends on what you are looking for :)
(describe for example the use of such a matrix, please)
Have a nice day!

Thanks for your answer, and sorry if I was obscure!

What I'm looking for is pretty simple (example columns):

Type (tablet/phone/device) | Manufacturer | OS | Carrier

Everything else I could add myself like storage, features etc.

more info about market share in browsing: http://marketshare.hitslink.com/  the "reports" may be the most relevant.

For info about carriers, I would like to advise you to "Google it", because it changes quite quickly and news items on websites are mostly quite accurate :)
For example: http://gorumors.com/crunchies/mobile-carriers-market-share-usa/ and http://wirelessnorth.ca/2009/04/09/real-marketshare-of-canadian-carriers-in-case-you-were-wondering/ and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_mobile_phone_companies

http://www.reghardware.com/ and http://www.cnet.com/ are interesting for reviews & news.
Just to name a few websites, is it sufficiënt??

Goodluck!

(sorry for the late reaction: very busy here).
