translate Chinese/Russian Characters in SQL Server Database to English

Hi,

Is there any way to translate Chinese/Russian Characters in SQL Server Database to English..
I want to pass the Chinese characets to a proc/Func and return the English text.

You need a Language Translator and SQL Server can't help you on that..
Use any Language translators and pass the output to SQL Server so that it can store the contents in English..

the only free tools i came across are online tools.
maybe you should consider developind some kind of api to use these tools.

As mentioned by ashilo, there are no free softwares to do perfect translation..
Better to convert the text and save it in your database..
