Surveys don't have configurable contenttypes.

What are you actually trying to do?

When you create a survey you need to supply the questions which are in effect the columns in your contenttype.

Thanks, actually I am trying to pool the branch of the employee based on login user in a survey question, for example (1)Branch? (Question) in a textbox (answer)automatically it should populate branch Id or name. Please provide help on this.

Thank you.

Hi psv1973,

Nothing is impossible. In Experts-Exchange I don't see the experts to resolve this problem. Instead providing right solution saying no way.

Solution:

1. Open survey NewForm.aspx in SharePoint Designer

2. Write server side script (i.e. C# script Inline code) to pool data from Database

3. Save branch Name of respective employee in one Hidden field.

4. Write Client side script(using Javascript)

5. Get Hidden field value and assign to field (ie. Branch Textbox)

6. Save file run the SharePoint Survey.

Thank you.
