Reboot the server and wait for sometime, they would ideally come up again. and if not you can use wsus client diag tool to identifiy but that's for latter part. Right now you can go ahead with reboot and wait for sometime if possible

Are the machines imaged? I think this can happen if sysprep did not run correctly and the SIDs are the same

Every time I configure a new server to point to my WSUS server for updates another server is deleted from the WSUS console tree. My WSUS server is 2K8 R2, most of the severs I'm trying to join are either 2K3 or 2K8. Any ideas?

WSUS Clients Disappear when new client is added
