HP 2300 printer tray problem

I have a HP 2300 2 tray printer. I have 2 computers printing to this printer. One computer prints to this printer via the network through the second computer for which the printer is directly attahed via USB. I have an application (Pawn Master installed on both computers) that uses different trays of this printer. i have it setup where some functions in this software prints to tray 1 and others to tray 2. Everything works fine normaly but there are times where everything justs come out of tray 2. I have the tray preferences set with in the multiple copies of the print driver s(PCL6). Should I just use a print server or change the driver? Ny help would be apprecited.

If available, a print server would be a better option. Then you could easily create two seperate instances configured specifically with default trays. A workstation isn't really configured to work as a print server and the functionality is questionable. That is my opinion any way.
