How to manually remove hp 1522 software

How do I manually remove hp 1522 software. I've tried uninstalling tons of different ways and nothing is working how can I manually uninstall this printer?

There is an additional uninstaller on the CD that came with the printer.

Execute the following files to fully uninstalll the printer with X being your CDROM drive letter.

x:\Util\CCC\Uninstall-L1
x:\Util\CCC\Uninstall-L2
x:\Util\CCC\Uninstall-L3
x:\Util\CCC\Uninstall-L4

Hey jkratzer,

I forgot to mention I've tried that multiple times it doesn't find the files it needs to use those.

Download the latest driver set for this printer and extract to a location on your local drive.

Find the Uninstall-L* seriese and run them.

If that does not work, you will have to go into the server properties under file in the Print Settings.

Go to the Drivers tab and find the drivers for that printer.  Remove them.

This will remove the drivers for the printer from the system.

If you are still having problems removing the related software, download a 3rd part uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller.

Hey jkratzer,

I will give this a try tonight !, I really hope it works almost all suggestions for people so far have not worked.

Unfortuanetly none of these worked, when I try and install the software it still comes up with it saying the hp software is already installed.

Did you try loggin in with another login to see if you can get the printer working with a different login?

Maybe try the local Administrator account, or if already using the local Administrator account, maybe try creating a new user account and adding this user to the Local Administrator account to see if you can get the printing working.

As an alternative, can you try using a system restore to a previous date? (Make a current restore point in case this does not work.)

I installed a network scan driver, and it didn't install correctly then it removed itself and all other HP software, then it let me reinstall the original software.
