I am trying to implement paypal digital goods and their documentation says you have to obtain a paykey. Is this the same thing as a token?

The PayKey is the unique reference for the transaction received from the underlying adaptive payments system. You will get an IPN for the transaction but this will not contain the payKey.

The Id token is an id used by PDT to make the authentication with Paypal servers.
