I am getting SNMP 1101 errors in my system log on each restart after reintsalling Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.1.9.9000. The system is running SBS 2003 R2 Standard. The exact error is:

Source: SNMP
Category: None
Type: Warning
Event ID: 1101
Description: The SNMP Service is ignoring extension agent key SOFTWARE\Intel\LANDesk\AMS 2 SNMP Generator\CurrentVersion because it is missing or misconfigured.

I have verified that the key is missing. Can I just delete the entry for it from the HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\ExtensionAgents key? The program appears to be functioning correctly.

Thanks in advance.

But yes, you can delete the entries as the paragraph below states:

Disable or remove extension agents from the Management Information Base until the issue no longer exists. Disable or remove extension agents one extension agent at a time. The registry entries in the following registry subkey define the list of extension agents that are configured:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\ExtensionAgents
