Can I deploy Mozilla Firefox in an App-V environment with multiple versions of JRE?
We have a requirement of several JRE versions due to legacy applications portals that have not been updated to work with current JRE releases.

I'm not sure about App-V, In general I do have many JRE co-existing peacefully on my XP system and I can specify
which java I want to be used in my firefox, more or less as they show here:
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Using%20the%20Java%20plugin%20with%20Firefox?s=Java&as=s#w_enabling-java

If you question was specifically about App-V, then let's wait till someone who knows about it responds.

for_yan: I am aware of local OS and installation instances for multiple JRE versions, but not aware of how well or if at all multiple versions can run in an App-V environment.

Well, perhpas you saw it, but folks on the web seem to be mostly optimistic about two versions of JREin App-V like here:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/appvdocumentation/thread/7ed39f57-eb55-429e-87a3-c525d249f404

or here:

http://serverfault.com/questions/89864/war-of-the-jre-versions

These are not specific to Firefox, though

I think that may help with the Firefox issue.
Any idea as to how I can create the Internet Explorer package to leverage a specific version of JRE in App-V environment?
