Zyxel DSL Modem remote management access

We are currently evaluating the Zyxel P-663H-51 modem for its multi-loop bonding capability. This was easy to get going, but there are a few little nagging issues that are keeping us from going live with the unit as a piece of production equipment.

The first issue is remote management. So far, I have not been able to find a way to permit the "admin" user to log in from the WAN side. This is problematic as we would like to avoid doing truck rolls for simple routine tasks such as managing NAT pinholes, etc.

The user "support" is able to log in via the WAN interface, but several key configurations are not available to this user.

Our evaluation unit is running version 1.01(AZG.2)

From page 32 of the user manual:

"The admin account can only access the ZyXEL Device from the LAN."

You will need to set up a remotely-accessible LAN machine (RDP, VLC, GoToMyPC, LogMeIn, etc) in order to administer the modem remotely.
