I tried installing the WindowsMobilePowerToys.msi in my desktop and copied the PPC command shell folder (cmd.exe , shell.exe and console.dll) to my PDA device ( MC 9090 G windows mobile 5.0) but still it's not working. Is there any other step needs to be done?
Thanks.
Thanks.
just installed it on the emulator as I don't have WM5.0 device handy. All you have to do (apart from copying) is to set that registry key. works like a charm

Thanks very much for your reply. It's working now. But i did all this to run a cmd / bat file in windows mobile 5.0 which i couldn't do. When i execute the cmd file it says file not found. Do you have any idea?
Hello
sorry for jumping in but there are better solutions to run batch commands on Windows Mobile devices. One is called nScript and the other is MortScript, both are freeware. nScript is mor a C like scripting language, MortScript is available for Mobile and Desktop.

I am not sure about batch/cmd support with CommandPrompt in WindowsMobile
