change font style on a comment in adobe 8 standard

Does anyone knows how to change the font of a comment made in a text box on a pdf file.Adobe has apparently decided all comments will be in red and of a font of their choosing. Changing the box line color and width is easy, but not the text.  Can this be changed?

try selecting Preferences from the Edit menu to set the defaults you want.
