Hi,<br />
I am trying to install the library LibXML-1.70 on my unix account.<br />
I tried two methods, both unsuccessful.<br />
<br />
method 1: using <br />
perl -MCPAN -e &quot;install 'XML::LibXML'&quot;<br />
the result; is always unsuccessful at the CPAN site (result below).<br />
<br />
I attached the output as code<br />
<br />
method 2:<br />
I downloaded the .gz <br />
<a href="http://search.cpan.org/~pajas/XML-LibXML-1.70/LibXML.pod" rel="ugc">http://search.cpan.org/~pajas/XML-LibXML-1.70/LibXML.pod</a><br />
XML/LibXML17.70.tar.gz<br />
I unzip when i execute &nbsp;perl Makefile.PL<br />
the output complain it cannot find libxml2 not found and ot get libxml2 from<br />
<a href="http://xmlsoft.org/" rel="ugc">http://xmlsoft.org/</a><br />
I downloaded libxml2-2.7.8-5mdv2011.0.s<wbr />rc.rpm and libxml2-devel-2.7.8-5mdv20<wbr />11.0.i586.<wbr />rpm<br />
but still it cannot find them..<br />

Can you please give me comments/suggestions for both method 1 and method2.<br />

Hi,

Installing XML-LibXML-1.70

Perl is a high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming languages with over 25 years of development.
