What are the significant improvements/ degradations from A2003 to be found in A2007/A2010?

Ans. will ULS ever make a comeback?

i don't think ULS will ever comeback

microsoft, i believe, prefers that you host your database on SQL Server and use that to manage the user-level security. then you use access to provide forms/queries/reports/etc
